Providing this type of care for a loved one can be incredibly rewarding, but almost half of family caregivers report related financial setbacks, with 26% spending their own income on care expenses and 61% of working caregivers reporting job impacts. The WA Cares Fund was designed to give Washington workers a more affordable way to pay for long-term care and to give their families much-needed financial resources. During this webinar, we will hear stories from family caregivers, discuss the impacts caregiving has on family members and learn how WA Cares can support family caregivers.
