In this role, you’ll learn how the Benefits & Customer Care team and Area Agencies on Aging deliver services, then turn that understanding into clear, accessible policies and procedures. You’ll collaborate with Intake, Call Center, Imaging, and other teams to see how their work happens in our systems and translate that knowledge into guidance staff can easily follow. You’ll also help make our technology instructions more user-friendly so both technical and non-technical staff can use them with confidence.

During your first year, the goal is to have a fully staffed technology team, approved and working IT processes and procedures, and stable systems. You'll manage staff developing and supporting technology solutions, help shape the team's roadmap, and work with IT leadership to ensure they have the information they need to understand the health, priorities, and direction of WA Cares technology.
