Tribal Policy Specialist
This job will require significant travel statewide for in person Tribal Meetings.
Some of what you'll do:
- Formulate statewide policy and procedures to strategically align WA Cares Fund and tribal participation
- Formulate agency rules, revise existing rules as required to comport with goals identified through tribal partnerships
- Represent WA Cares Fund in policy workgroups pertaining to tribes
- Formulate contract language to enable tribal participation in compliance with state, federal and tribal law
- Provide expert analysis and consultation to policy and provider network units within the WA Cares Fund division to facilitate tribal participation
Administrative Assistant - Central Washington
As the WCF Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative support directly to WA Cares regional administrator, deputy regional Administrator, and regional executive leadership team. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive administrative support, drafting professional correspondence, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and arranging travel plans. Additionally, you will assist with personnel administration, ensuring employees have the resources and support needed to excel in their roles.
Aging & Community Assistance Network Specialist
In this role, you will provide strategic oversight and contract monitoring for the Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) and the Community Assistance Network (CAN) partners that support WA Cares Fund operations statewide. This position plays a critical role in ensuring statewide consistency, accountability, and quality across the ACAN network.
Assessment Specialist - Eastern Washington
As a WA Cares Fund Assessor Specialist, you’ll meet people both in-person and remote to conduct long-term care functional assessments under the WA Cares Fund program. Whether it’s in their home, a hospital room, a nursing facility, or a residential care setting, you’ll conduct thoughtful, compassionate assessments to help determine their eligibility for self-directed long-term care services. You’ll craft personalized care plans that reflect everyone’s unique needs and goals, helping them stay in or return to their community with the support they need to thrive.
